An Instagram comment auto reply posts a public reply under a comment automatically, and can send the commenter a DM at the same time. Set a keyword such as PRICE, write the public reply ("Sent! Check your DMs 💌") and the DM with your link. A tool approved through Meta App Review, like likecmtshare, does both within seconds, which lifts engagement on the post and moves the conversation into DMs.
Public reply vs DM
Two different things happen, and you can use either or both:
- Public comment reply: everyone scrolling the post sees you responded. Good for engagement and social proof.
- Auto DM: the private message with your link, price list or file.
Most creators use both: a short public reply that tells people to check their DMs, plus the DM itself. For DMs, story replies and Instagram's own free options, see the Instagram auto reply guide.
Why auto replies help reach
Instagram shows posts to more people when they get replies and conversations, not just likes. Replying to every comment within seconds — instead of hours later — keeps a post active while it is still being shown.
How to set it up
- Connect your Instagram Business or Creator account.
- Choose the post or reel, or apply it to all posts.
- Set the keyword, or choose to reply to every comment.
- Write 3–5 public reply variations so the replies do not look identical.
- Write the DM with your link or file.
- Turn it on and watch the comments.

- Write several reply variations; repeating one line under 200 comments looks robotic
- Keep public replies short and friendly
- Use a specific keyword so only genuine buyers trigger a reply
- Reply to every comment on your best-performing reels, not on every old post
FAQ
Can Instagram reply to comments automatically?
Yes, with a Meta-approved tool connected to your Business or Creator account. It can post a public reply and send a DM within seconds.
Will identical replies look spammy?
They can. likecmtshare rotates message variations so replies do not read as copy-paste.
Does auto replying help the algorithm?
Replies and DMs count as engagement, and fast replies keep a post active while Instagram is still showing it.
Can I filter out spam comments?
Yes. Only comments that contain your keyword trigger a reply, so most spam never gets one.
Is comment auto reply free?
Public comment replies are on the Pro plan (₹1,799/month). Comment-to-DM is on the free plan.
